Learning to ride a bike is hard and toddlers toddle, that is what they do.  Sometimes swerving is part of maturity and other times it is part of immaturity and irresponsibility like when a distracted driver hardly keeps it between the lines.  This week we looked at the traits of unswerving and united for hope filled Christians.  We started with last week’s passage of Joshua 2:14 and the NET translation about unswerving allegiance and how we need people who “have our backs” as we also pledge our allegiance to fellow Christians.  We then looked at the term “unswerving” in the life of Solomon and the usages of the Greek word in the NT.  The focus passage was Hebrews 10:23 as part of the “let us” passages about holding unswervingly to the hope we profess.  This led to a discussion of Daniel and his friends and the value of having others who support your faith and faithfulness during opposition.  Thank you for being in God’s word together.  Consider following us on Facebook or YouTube to be updated on weekly postings.
