Jesus is our model. He is the one who shows us all the traits of hopeful people that we have been looking at thought our series. In today’s sermon Jesus was our specific model of listening and learning. He listened and obeyed His Father as we have multiple verses in John that shows us that connection. According to Hebrews 5 Jesus learned obedience and in Hebrews 2 His temptation allows Him to help us while we are being tempted. Jesus trusted the Father and overflowed with hope to His Apostles and disciples as they learned to “Listen to Him” as we see in Matthew 17:5. Hopefully you have grown in hope as we have been in God’s word together. Thank you for joining us in this series and e look forward to being together in the next series about “Connecting to God.”
