Do you remember the words of the Doxology that we sing? “Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!” Sometimes, as Christians who are to be filled with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, we need the reminder to stop and praise God. When we read of the example of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:22-24 and consider the struggle and declaration of David in Psalm 62 to praise God in difficult circumstances we can be encouraged to follow their example in our lives today. Being people of praise and perseverance helps us grow in hope as we overflow with Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for being in God’s word together.
